Summary

This is a support role to effectively assist in the repeated tasks of Procurement and cross-departmental processes. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with team members, via telephone, electronically and in person. They will be responsible for processing information from interactions and coordinating the procurement and distribution of materials and supplies for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Assist in updating & Pre-Receive POs for stockAssist in building orders for shipments to customersVerify blind talliesReceive orders and input them into BistrackGather pricing from vendors for Glulam and other special-order items. Assist OSRs/CSRs in quoting these itemsAssist creating purchasing orders and processing of special-order sales ordersAssist processing VMI (daily)Verify invoices from suppliers, research discrepancies, and resolve issuesLearn and assist in monitoring material trends and large projects reported by OSR's/TechnicalCreate a daily procurement reportPerform required transfer tasksAssist to document all vendor damage and submit pictures and credit requests as neededAssist in weekly, bi-weekly and yearly inventory countsCollaborate with Customer Service, Operations, and others to perform and achieve all cross-departmental tasks and goalsOther duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but straightforward written and/or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of BisTrack is a plus.
