This position is responsible for leading a subset of the AUFC advisor team in growing the business and achieving both top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability. This role is pivotal in recruiting and managing a high-performing team of financial advisors, driving strategic sales initiatives, and fostering collaboration across Atlantic Union Bank business lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients. The position entails a variety of special projects and works with sensitive and confidential data. Work is done under limited supervision and in compliance with established risk management policies, procedures and regulations.
Position Accountabilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to ensure consistent growth and profitability.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
Team Management & Recruitment
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Consumer banking, Business banking, Mortgage, and other departments to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with other business lines to deliver holistic financial solutions to clients.
- Champion communication and coordination across teams to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Support advisors in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Promote a consultative sales approach focused on planning and long-term client success.
Organizational Relationship
This position reports to the Managing Director, Atlantic Union Financial Consultants.
Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related degree
-PREFERRED
Six years of related sales and financial advising experience- -REQUIREDNIPR State of Virgina life insurance and annuities licenses REQUIRED
- FINRA registrations Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65) REQUIRED
- FINRA registrations Series 24 (or 9/10) PREFERRED
- Experience working for or partnering with Raymond James PREFERRED
Knowledge & Skills
Extensive knowledge of financial products, advisory services, and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in brokerage or wealth sales leadership.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing high-performing teams.
- Develops and executes strategic plans to align with organizational goals.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
