Our San Antonio, TX Service Center is seeking an On-site Operations Manager for MD&A's Industrial Gas Turbines Division.

The Primary Purpose Of This Position Is To Execute Schedules, To Meet Production Needs Throughout The Production Floor, And Support All Shipping And Receiving Activities Of The Facility Including

  • Full responsibility of shop floor
  • Scheduling
  • Logistics/Transportation
  • Employees Daily Task, through Leads
  • Customer Support as needed
  • Tooling/Safety/Process Flow
  • Lead Production Meetings
  • Be the communication point/coordinator between Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, EH&S and Facilities

Requirements

  • 5+ year's experience in a mechanical manufacturing operation, welding & general machining
  • 5+ year's experience in a lean manufacturing / special process role
  • Adheres to Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Execute in a fast-paced operating environment
  • Multitask across multiple products/processes
  • Good communication skills both externally & internally
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft office
  • Able to be trained to use Epicor
  • Works well in cross functional teams and with others
  • Supports all work assigned including special projects
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or restrictions
