Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional Hospitality in a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards, and leading your team to deliver outstanding dining experiences. With room for growth and advancement/promotion within the company we are looking for individuals who share our vision of service to the community.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate and manage POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
  • Conduct inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Train, develop, and mentor staff in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial management of the restaurant operations.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality while fostering a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is preferred; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in food service management, including kitchen management and food production.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with training & development practices for staff enhancement.
  • Knowledge of budgeting principles within the restaurant industry is beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Culinary experience or formal culinary training is an advantage.
