What You Will Do

  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis of financial statements
  • Assist with financial modeling of capital projects, M&A targets, & other growth initiatives
  • Assist with M&A process from due diligence support to integration support
  • Work with sales & operations teams to build annual budgets & maintain forecasts
  • Ad-hoc financial modeling to support sales & operations teams
  • Work with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and or enhance tools, reporting, and metrics to improve efficiencies, costs and or data analysis.
  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

What You Will Need

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to navigate/understand financial statements.
  • Prior exposure to valuation and financial return models.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to be a self-starter; creative, innovative, organized.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Desirable Experience/Training

  • Experience in the aggregates/greater construction/building materials industry
  • Overall software/computer literacy
  • Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
  • Positive, Team-based attitude
