SUMMARY:

Same Day Process is immediately hiring 1099-contractors for the Baltimore area to deliver documents. This is a commission-based Process Server position. Previous process server or legal experience is a plus. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional attention to detail, superior customer service skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Military and Law Enforcement Veterans are encouraged to apply as they have been very successful in this role previously.

This is a good fit for people who enjoy being active and don't want to be stuck behind a desk all day.

POSITION SPECIFICS:

-Deliver legal documents to witnesses, defendants, and other parties.

-Read and type status reports regarding what happened upon delivery attempts into phone app (both Android and iPhone friendly).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

-Flexibility

-Driver's License

-Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance

-Accurate typing and strong written communication skills

-High School diploma or GED required

-We will provide training

COMPENSATION

The delivery job's pay varies based on the location and type of documents, and ranges between $20 - $40/ea. 2-attempt postings are on the lower $20 side, routine services are $30/each, and anything that is far out or marked as a rush falls on the higher $40+ side of commissions.

Delivery attempts have to be spread out between different times of the day, and some attempts may need to be made in the evenings or on weekends. Attempts need to be made within 3-5 days of receiving the paperwork from us, unless the job is marked as rush, where you'd need to attempt them within 24-48 hours of receiving them. Following attempts need to be made within 3-5 days following your first attempt (unless rush, then daily or every other day).

We do all printing for you in our Washington DC office, and you will need to come in to our office to sign Affidavits of Service for your deliveries to queue payment. We pay weekly
