Silver Spring, MD
office four days per week.

Responsibilities
Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of loan operations? We're looking for a fun-loving, detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to join our team In this exciting role, you'll be the mastermind behind setting up all types of new loans, modifications, renewals, and extensions in our core system (IBS) – and we want you to do it with flair and accuracy

Your day-to-day will be anything but boring You'll be performing a variety of loan servicing activities, from account maintenance to processing loan payments and sending out statements. Think of yourself as the financial superhero who ensures everything runs smoothly. You'll also get to flex your skills with General Ledger entries using PeopleSoft. Plus, you'll review reports and tackle other fun tasks as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3 years loan servicing, loan documentation or related job experience in the financial industry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products, preferably proficient in MS Excel, and MS Word
  • Familiar with General Ledger balancing and common banking transactions
  • Knowledge of FIS/IBS bank core system or other similar banking system

  • Completion of specialized banking or finance courses
