We are seeking an organized and proactive
Project Manager
to lead strategic initiatives within a dynamic retail environment. This role will focus on building strong project foundations—developing charters, detailed workplans, and RACI matrices—while driving accountability and alignment across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, is highly collaborative, and excels at facilitating communication between stakeholders at all levels.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that support enterprise-wide priorities. You will partner with leaders and project sponsors to define objectives, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of outcomes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Structure

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project charters, workplans, and RACI frameworks to define scope, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with sponsors and team leads to establish clear objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Execution & Accountability

  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams by monitoring progress, escalating risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and updates to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Support consistent documentation and communication across all stakeholders.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Build and manage detailed project schedules, tracking key milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and check-ins with leaders and project teams.
  • Ensure timely distribution of meeting notes, action items, and status reports.

Contract & Administrative Support

  • Partner with procurement or legal teams to support contracting processes, including tracking timelines and renewals.
  • Maintain organized project documentation including contracts, budgets, and status summaries.

Leadership Engagement

  • Prepare concise updates, dashboards, and presentations for leadership visibility.
  • Support executive communications, ensuring alignment between teams and leadership priorities.
  • Act as a key liaison between project teams and senior leaders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of project management experience in a corporate or cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with project planning, governance, and documentation tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or
    equivalent).

Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Knowledge or experience in sustainability or environmental initiatives.
