Server – South Park Brewing – Full Time

South Park Brewing is currently looking for fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic full time Taproom server in Colorado Springs.

We are an award-winning local craft brewery located on the West Side of Colorado Springs. We were located for the last 10 years in Fairplay, CO. We moved our very successful operation to Colorado Springs in June 2024. We are a rapidly growing local brewery that also serves an excellent food menu consisting of smash burgers and hand breaded chicken sandwiches. We are looking for reliable, hardworking staff who are passionate about craft beer and are looking for a growth opportunity in the craft beer/restaurant industry.

We are looking for customer service-oriented salespeople that are able to multi-task in ever changing situations. Successful candidates are self-starters that have positive attitudes, show initiative and can handle any situation. The position is a full time, non-exempt position. Must have open availability. Compensation is $11.79 per hour + tips, which averages to $25.00-$40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent, friendly service to every guest

Facilitate a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all patrons

Set up taproom at beginning of shift. Set up includes mopping and deep cleaning bathrooms.

Be able to close tap room by yourself.

Properly pour beer and serve customers - bar and table service required

Operate POS system

Clean glassware. We wash glasses with a glass washer, by hand

Upsell merchandise and beer to go

Deep clean taproom including bar and bathrooms weekly and monthly

Ability to manipulate and change a half barrel keg by yourself

Enforce tap room policies in a positive way

Take trash out daily

Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks

Ability to review IDs of all guests

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age

Minimum of two years of recent server/bartender experience

Organized self-starter with ability to follow through on all assigned tasks

Passionate about the craft beer industry

Willingness to continue to learn about our brewery, process, and products as well as other breweries.

Able to stand, go up and down a flights of stairs frequently and cover the taproom and patio for an entire shift lasting up to 10 hours.

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
