What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment for our dogs.
  • Note necessary meals, medications and services for dogs joining us.
  • Ensure safe and engaging lobby experience
  • Accurately check in/out guests and handle payments.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service.
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely (PPE provided).
  • Support a positive, team-driven atmosphere.
  • Help manage the reservations system to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs.
  • Assist clients with questions about our services, pricing, and policies.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Troubleshoot any customer issues or concerns, ensuring a quick and effective resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lift up to 40lbs.
  • Respond promptly to company emails and messages.
  • Document dog behavior and needs via our Gingr and Outlook systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including deep cleaning of lobby and client spaces.
  • Ensure dogs' safety during check in/out
  • Keep accurate records of client accounts, contracts, and payments.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date client information and preferences.
  • Provide timely and professional follow-up with clients to ensure they're informed about their dog's stay.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and an understanding of their behavior is essential. Experience with pets is preferred, but not required—just a willingness to learn
  • Customer Service Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude are key.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy in handling client information, managing reservations, and tracking payments.
  • Organization Skills: Ability to stay organized and keep track of multiple tasks, including scheduling, client follow-ups, and maintaining up-to-date client and dog records.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a fun, energetic team. We value communication and teamwork to create a positive work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Must be able to quickly and effectively address any issues that arise, both with clients and dogs.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work on your feet, manage a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the day.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using customer management systems like Gingr and Outlook (training provided). Ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
  • Reliable and Punctual: Dependability and timeliness are essential, especially in a role with rotating shifts and flexible hours.
  • Flexible Availability: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure excellent service to our clients.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members. Must be comfortable representing Dogs 24/7 in a friendly and approachable way.
