Brand Communications Manager

Oh hey We're the Employee Communications Team, the heart behind AVG's relationship-based culture and Internal Comms. With an exciting vision ahead, we're looking for an experienced Content Marketer to join us.
That is because this role will bring our brand and employee stories to life. They will make an enormously positive difference for our team members and the pets they care for. All 2.7 million of them annually. Every day, from impactful content curation to thoughtfully-crafted design and video production, they'll be reminding our teams company-wide of the very heart of the matter: our purpose, values, and why we do what we do (and how we do it so well).
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction and Execution:
Organizes and project plans deadlines proactively with structured time management. You are no stranger to "eating the frog," and find organization and project management to be calming.
- Key Traits: You are task-driven, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. Most importantly, you are a true planner and can expect the unexpected
Creative Production:
Produces high-quality graphic design, video production, and sharp headlines for various platforms, including the company intranet, executive updates, organizational initiatives, and promotional materials.
- Key Traits: You have a keen eye for safeguarding the brand and overall employee communications. You understand your work reaches the desks of top executives, including the CEO, and lives in the heart of our workforce. You can balance expertise with delicacy.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Works closely with internal teams and executives to develop and present multiple deliverables within designated timeframe.
- Key Traits: You have strong interpersonal skills and can establish trust by communicating scope clearly and understanding expectations. You are an active listener and treat internal departments with priority and precision.
- While you are structured and detail-oriented, you also can work with subjects relationally to capture them at their very best. This can include getting subjects on video (including within the clinical setting and executive), capturing B-Roll, and photography. You know how to work a crowd and an angle.

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design and project management (3-5 years preferred).
- Stewards relationships with care and thoughtfulness, providing unwavering references that can attest to this.
- Exceptional graphic design, video production, content editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely detail-oriented and proofs / fact-checks meticulously.
- A positive, can-do attitude; strong people skills/emotional intelligence; excellent analytical skills; willingness to roll up your sleeves and chip in to help the team.
Nice to Have:
- Video animation experience.
- Comfort utilizing and producing within web content management systems.
- Video and photo-capturing skills. You bring out the best in people behind the lens
- A PowerPoint design pro
