We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hotel Security Manager. This position reports to our Director of Security and assists in supervising a team of Security House Officers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assist Director of Security in supervising Security House Officers and Supervisors, including scheduling according to hotel business levels, and daily work assignments

· Manage daily administrative responsibilities of the Security Department

· Maintain complete knowledge of hotel activities, including:

o Layout of building and surrounding grounds

o Fire and emergency plans

o Outlets and hours of operation

o All hotel services and facilities

o House count and scheduled groups

o Scheduled activities and functions within the hotel

o Hotel rules of conduct

· Assist the Director of Security in managing fire alarms and all emergencies on hotel property

· Assist the Director of Security in supervising the Incident Reporting process, ensuring all guest and employee incident reports are completed accurately. Report incidents to Director of Security, and appropriate Department Managers and General Manager

· Assist the Director of Security in the maintenance and supervision of hotel fire panel system, security cameras, Saflok system, and hotel radios

· Maintain Lost & Found process for all valuable items

· Maintain positive guest and employee relations at all times

· Maintain working relationship with all departments to enforce security and safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

· Security management experience required, hotel experience preferred

· NYPD or local law enforcement experience

· NYS Security License

· Valid NYS Drivers License; able to drive hotel vehicles when needed

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal

· Computer literate – MSOffice, Opera and Saflok a plus

· Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time

· Must be able to move or lift large/heavy objects, some in excess of 100 lbs.

· CPR/First Aid/AED Certification a plus

Compensation $64,350/year. (Salary increases on 1/1/26 as NYS Exempt Salary Threshold increases to $66,300/year)
