Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and remain highly visible while providing outstanding customer service. You will play a crucial role in upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation as you respond to incidents and assist employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter and various areas of the facility.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns around the premises.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Assist in controlling access to the facility and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
