Social Media Marketing Assistant/Intern

Position Overview:
We're seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern/Assistant to join our team and work directly under our Marketing Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop real-world skills in digital marketing, graphic design, analytics, and public relations while contributing to innovative campaigns that drive results. As our dealership expands, you'll have the chance to grow with us and explore future career opportunities within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok to increase brand visibility and engagement
- Content Creation: Produce compelling content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts that align with our branding guidelines and marketing objectives
- Market Intelligence: Conduct social listening to track brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity, providing actionable insights for future content planning
- Public Relations Support: Collaborate with the Marketing Director on PR initiatives to enhance brand reputation and strengthen community outreach
- Quality Control: Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing
- Brand Development: Contribute to branding efforts by maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all digital channels
Qualifications:
- Some experience in marketing, social media management, or related fields preferred
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends
- Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a plus
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- We're willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and aptitude
