Description

  • An experienced Engineer of Record (EOR) is sought to join a Municipal Team, playing a key role in leading the engineering design and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania.

  • Position Summary / What You'll Do
  • As an Engineer of Record, you will provide technical leadership and professional engineering oversight on municipal projects, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant designs. You'll serve as the signing/sealing engineer, mentor project engineers, and partner with project managers to deliver solutions that meet client goals.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid - 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
  • Responsibilities / Day-to-Day
  • Lead engineering design efforts and serve as Engineer of Record for municipal projects
  • Prepare and/or review engineering plans, specifications, and calculations for accuracy and compliance
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to project engineers and designers
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget
  • Interface with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as needed
  • Ensure adherence to professional engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania
  • 8+ years of progressive engineering experience in municipal water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as Engineer of Record on design projects
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
  • Client-facing experience with municipal clients in Pennsylvania
