We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment to new heights. Duties
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs to maximize profitability.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams, providing ongoing training, coaching, and development to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality control in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and conduct interviews for hiring new team members.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including labor costs and operational expenses, to meet financial targets.
- Implement marketing initiatives and special events like banquets or catering services to boost restaurant visibility.
- Ensure adherence to hospitality management best practices while fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, ideally in full service dining settings.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting.
- Strong background in inventory control, food handling, and food safety protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality management roles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food production, service standards, and safety procedures.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements.
- Familiarity with catering operations or banquet management is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop team members' skills.
