Slitter Operator

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Slitter Operator position at their Villa Rica I facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Qualified candidates should have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Pay: $ $27.21+ per hour depending on experience

Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for the night shift premium.

Schedule: Nights 3/2 Night Schedule 7:00pm-7:00am (after training)

• Up to $135 for uniforms

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Must be at least 18 years old

• At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred

 Internal Candidates:

• Last performance review was rated "Performer" or higher 

• No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past 120 days

• Must be in current position for at least 120 days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare master rolls for slitting

• Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing

• Properly segregate and label all materials

• Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations

• Communicate orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information

• Ability to troubleshoot if needed

• Understand and follow Food Safety GMPs
