Job Summary:
We are excited to have you explore our Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)/Case Management Program. Our program is designed to provide comprehensive, client-centered services that address the mental health, emotional, and social needs of individuals seeking care. This program integrates the roles of QMHP/Case Manager is to support clients in managing their behavioral health conditions, ensuring access to necessary services, and promoting long-term recovery and stability.
The program aims to improve clients' overall mental well-being by providing a combination of direct clinical interventions, coordination of care, and access to resources and services. It focuses on delivering holistic care through collaborative efforts among a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Please note: This is a 1099 contract role (W9), meaning that the position is independent contractor status. As a contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits. You will receive a 1099 form at the end of the year for tax reporting purposes.
Job Responsibilties:
- Conduct clinical research and assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals with special needs, including those with chronic pain, autism, and other developmental disorders.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals with special needs, utilizing various modalities such as dance therapy, art therapy, and psychopharmacology.
- Collect and analyze data related to the progress and outcomes of therapy sessions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of special needs counseling.
Qualifivcation & Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, counseling, special education).
- Certification or licensure as a Qualified Professional in the field of special needs counseling.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly those with chronic pain or autism.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application in treating individuals with special needs.
- Familiarity with data collection and coding methods used in clinical research.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with individuals with special needs.
