Job Title: Case Manager (Part-Time)

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: Part-Time (35 hours per week. Benefits are not included)

About Christian's Manor

Christian's Manor is a nonprofit transitional housing program serving single parents pursuing higher education in South Texas. We provide affordable housing, case management, academic support, and community resources to break the cycle of poverty two generations at a time.

Our Mission:

Christian's Manor is dedicated to addressing homelessness and its underlying causes by providing comprehensive support and resources to individuals, especially those most at-risk for homelessness, empowering them to overcome this barrier and attain stability and long-term success.

Position Overview

The Case Manager plays a vital role in supporting single-parent families through individualized case management, monthly academic check-ins, and household budget planning. This position ensures that each resident receives the tools and guidance needed to achieve academic success, financial stability, and long-term independence. The Case Manager also helps coordinate family engagement activities and connects residents with community partners, mental health services, and other wraparound supports to promote holistic well-being.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized service plans for each family.

· Conduct monthly academic check-ins to review coursework progress and ensure educational goals are being met.

· Conduct monthly budget planning meetings to review income, expenses, and financial goals.

· Coordinate family engagement activities that promote connection, growth, and community involvement.

· Provide ongoing case management focused on academic progress, employment, budgeting, and housing stability.

· Maintain accurate and confidential records, case notes, and data using Smartsheet and other tracking systems.

· Connect families to supportive services such as childcare, transportation, and counseling.

· Monitor resident compliance with program expectations, leases, and participation requirements.

· Collaborate with staff and community partners to organize workshops, events, and referrals.

· Prepare monthly progress and outcome reports.

Qualifications

· Some college coursework required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

· Experience working with families, housing programs, or social services preferred.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills; empathetic and solution-focused.

· Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and maintain professional boundaries.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet (or willingness to learn).

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
