Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. With performance-based bonuses, top performers can grow total compensation to $95,000+ within three years.

Compensation & Growth

  • Base salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year
  • Performance-based bonuses available
  • Bonus potential increases with tenure and performance (up to $20,000+ annually by year three)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain GAAP-compliant financial statements
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with tax return preparation and compliance
  • Support private equity and corporate finance activities
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation
  • Assist in month-end close, journal entries, and account analysis
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions preferred)
  • Experience in financial accounting and tax regulations (preferred)
  • Familiarity with UltraTax CS or similar tax preparation software (preferred)
  • Familiarity with private equity, corporate finance, or public accounting (a plus)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • CPA license (preferred)
