Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Principal Systems Information Engineer to work for our company.
Summary:
Client Agency is Defense Logistics AgencyApplies an enterprise-wide set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, and construction of information systems on an enterprise-wide basis or across a major sector of the enterprise. Develop analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions. Utilizes performance analysis to predict performance trends and identify unique and systemic performance anomalies.Provides specialized knowledge of systems operations, risk management principles, and leading-edge industry technologies to develop enterprise system information engineer level migration and consolidation plans that result in minimum risk, optimum performance solutions. Interfaces with all levels of IT customer and operations staff. Performs process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools. Applies reverse engineering and reengineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents. Provides technical guidance in software engineering techniques and system design and technology issues relating to system migration and consolidation.Requirements:
Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)BA/BS or MA/MS with at least ten (10) years of experience.Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.Work With Us
IT-Strat is a technology consulting company that holds various contract vehicles including best in class vehicles. IT-Strat has supported multiple clients including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE via both prime and meaningful subcontracts).
