We're seeking a Clinical Network Specialist to join our growing team.
Responsible for planning and executing the network and technology transition of clinics to the Smile Doctors technology platform. Scope will include new affiliations, new buildouts, closures, remodels, and relocations. This includes interfacing with doctors, clinical staff, support center teams and third-party IT support professionals to understand the current technology installation. Then planning the appropriate path forward for a smooth transition to the Smile Doctors technology solutions.
How you'll make us better:
- Evaluation of available documentation to understand current state of clinical technology
- Perform site surveys of clinics to refine understanding of current state of clinical technology
- Provide clear and complete documentation of clinical technology
- Plan technology transition to Smile Doctors' network
- Communicate and plan with doctor and clinical staff
- Order and manage distribution of needed hardware following Smile Doctors standard practices
- Coordinate and manage onsite installation of needed technology updates
- Coordinate installation process of onsite installation with third party resources
- Provide pre and post network transition status reports and checklists
- Point of contact for post network transition follow-up
- Document and communicate technology overview to Help Desk for ongoing support post network transition
- Coordinate new build, relocation, or remodel installations
Your special skills:
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members
- Project planning of tasks including resources needed and scheduling
- Attention to detail to ensure quality deliverables
- Ability to provide supervision of 3rd party resources
Prerequisites for success:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years of IT services experience
- Meets qualifications to rent a car for business travel
- Intermediate knowledge of network equipment
- Intermediate knowledge of Cat6 cabling
- Intermediate knowledge of end user technology such as PCs, printers, and scanners
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows 10/11
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 troubleshooting and problem-solving
- COMPTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred
