A little bit about the role…
The Member Relations Advisor leads membership growth by converting warm leads and referrals into active members while cultivating strong, lasting relationships with local businesses. This role blends consultative sales, onboarding, and proactive member engagement to ensure each member receives the full value of their InUnison experience. By driving both retention and revenue growth, the Member Relations Advisor plays a central role in strengthening the local business community. On any given day, week, or month, you will:
Membership Growth (40%)
- Execute consultative sales efforts for warm leads and member referrals, from outreach to close.
- Manage and activate a structured referral program to generate new prospects.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly membership sales goals.
- Track pipeline progression and report regularly on conversion metrics.
- Tailor the InUnison value proposition to business needs using consultative discovery techniques.
- Log activities, outcomes, and pipeline stages consistently in CRM or tracking tools.
Member Relationship Management & Retention (30%)
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for active members with high-touch, proactive engagement.
- Conduct personalized onboarding and regular check-ins to connect members with relevant programs and benefits.
- Monitor engagement, identify at-risk members, and deploy targeted retention strategies.
- Manage offboarding conversations and collect insights to strengthen retention efforts.
Program & Community Engagement (15%)
- Collaborate with the Programs Coordinator to place members in roundtables, mentorships, and events.
- Educate members on available benefits and drive meaningful participation.
- Provide member stories and feedback to the Digital Strategy Manager for marketing content.
- Represent InUnison at community events to build relationships and enhance visibility.
Member Feedback & Experience Monitoring (15%)
- Identify key feedback points throughout the member lifecycle (onboarding, events, renewal, etc.).
- Participate in feedback review sessions to refine member engagement strategies.
- Coordinate deployment of surveys and feedback tools in partnership with internal teams.
- Analyze qualitative feedback to surface trends and improvement opportunities.
