Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bobcat / Mini Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly Bobcats, and will be responsible for performing various tasks on construction sites. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Bobcat and other heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders on construction sites.
  • Perform site preparation tasks such as grading, digging, and moving materials.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Assist in horizontal drilling operations as needed.
  • Operate water trucks and dump trucks for material transport on-site.
  • Engage in paving activities as required by project specifications.

Qualifications

  • Should be availalbe to work leagally.
  • Proven experience operating Bobcats and other heavy machinery in a construction setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience with commercial driving is preferred; valid driver's license required.
  • Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery, dump trucks, tankers, and graders is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
