Our 6,500 team members foster an uncommon, innovative culture and are dedicated to successfully bringing the future to bear today through cognitive answers, insights, algorithms and automation.  For more information, please visit  The Role Claims Services Group, LLC, a Solera Company, is hiring for the following role in Westlake, TX: Automotive Accounting Specialist to Ensure accurate and efficient handling of accounting operations to guide and support automotive dealerships using AutoMate DMS software platform. Telecommuting available.What You'll Do:Maintain accurate records of accounting functions within AutoMate system; Monitor system setup, troubleshoot accounting-related issues, and collaborate with internal teams to improve product functionality based on customer feedback and evolving dealership needs; Reconcile automotive dealership accounting and analyze business operations integrating with DMS platforms; Translate complex accounting workflows into practical solutions for dealership staff; Set up a dealership chart of accounts; Research, troubleshoot, and correct out of balance accounts; Utilize the General Ledger Mapping tool to conduct chart changes; Process daily and monthly accounting transactions including creating Journal Sources, Schedule/Complete Setups of accounting, accounts payable, parts, service, sales and F&I; Prepare Profit and Loss Report and compare it to the Trial Balance; Review and analyze raw financial data to resolve discrepancies after the journals and schedules are loaded; Analyze transaction data and compare transactions in two systems for accuracy; Compare client-provided financial statements with financial statements produced by AutoMate and research, troubleshoot, and correct out of balance accounts; Set up DOC reports and schedules; and Communicate with clients and colleagues to analyze financial statements, compare data between legacy and new systems, and resolve and troubleshoot discrepancies. Multiple positions.Who You'll Bring:  Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation; Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: Automotive dealership accounting, including payroll processing, regulations, reporting, and taxes; GAAP, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) design and management; Financial analysis and reporting; SalesForce; and Excel Advanced including PivotTables, advanced formulas and functions, data validation, conditional formatting, dashboard creation, data consolidation, advanced charting, and data cleansing; Position also requires one (1) year of experience with each of the following: SalesForce; FinancialForce; and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and price quoting processes for product, including SOW creation.#LI-DNIEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERSOLERA HOLDINGS, INC., AND ITS US SUBSIDIARIES (TOGETHER, SOLERA) IS AN EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
