High-Level Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide daily onsite IT support at our Walpole, MA facility. This role involves supporting PCs (laptops and desktops), networking, servers, and manufacturing IT devices such as printers and handheld scanners. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to walk the facility for device checks and support, including lifting up to 50 lbs for server and switch installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support onsite for all users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PCs, laptops, mobile devices (Android/iOS), servers, networking, and manufacturing facility IT devices.
  • Perform spot checks, rounds, and troubleshooting throughout the facility.
  • Manage IT intake and resolve daily incidents through shared and remote support models.
  • Investigate complex and recurring IT issues; escalate unresolved or major incidents to Site Management Infrastructure (SMI) team.
  • Communicate technical resolutions in user-friendly business language.
  • Stay updated on IT service offerings, ITSM portals, active migration projects, and technical resolutions.
  • Assist with PC migrations, application installations, data transfers, and identity management including multifactor authentication.
  • Configure servers, iLO, and perform vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, and console access.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for incident and request management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT Desk-side Support and/or IT Systems Analyst roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Office 365 in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with networking concepts, TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, and server setup/configuration.
  • Experience with Intune, Azure AD, identity management, and mobile device troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing facility IT devices (label printers, handheld WiFi devices, instruments).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in global, multi-cultural teams.
  • Physically able to walk the facility and lift up to 50 lbs for server/switch installations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mid-level experience with end-user computing, datacenter technologies, and networking.
  • Exposure to ITSM portals and active migration projects.
