We are seeking a highly organized and personable Membership Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in managing member relations, bringing on new members, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong people skills, proficiency with various computer applications, and the ability to handle multiple meetings and members efficiently. The Membership Coordinator will play a vital role in fostering positive member experiences within our organization.
Duties
- Coordinates new member participants for the monthly New Member Showcase Luncheon.
- Execute outreach programs for potential members.
- Implement the SGACC member retention strategy.
- Provide staff support to the SGACC Membership Engagement Committee.
- Plan and conduct regular Chamber 101 membership orientation.
- Monitor member engagement and provide outreach and support to members who are not actively utilizing chamber benefits.
- Track membership, new and renewal, and coordinate invoicing.
- Conduct regular member check-ins/visits to assess member use of services and programming.
- Review and update membership information in Chamber CRM.
- Respond to members' requests for information.
- Identify effective and efficient ways to enhance the member experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field preferred, but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in customer relations/sales preferred.
- Experience working with community organizations and government leaders is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to understand and explain complex topics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and execution skills.
- Time-sensitive and responsive to the Chamber's needs.
- Ability to speak in front of large groups with a professional structure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $20/hour with a competitive benefits package (Individual Health, dental, vision, life, and Simple IRA Contributions) and annual performance bonus. Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
