BKV is looking for an exceptional Senior Program Management Specialist
to serve as a trusted partner to our CEO and Chief of Staff—operating at the center of our most critical strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Strategic Storytelling & Executive Communications

  • Build compelling PowerPoint presentations and executive narratives for board meetings and CEO-driven initiatives
  • Prepare high-quality materials for our Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Coordinate and support facilitation of board and executive meetings
  • Ensure all materials meet public company governance standards

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with VPs and senior leaders across all business units to gather insights and drive alignment
  • Track and escalate critical risks and issues requiring executive attention
  • Serve as a credible bridge between the CEO office and the broader organization
  • Build trusted relationships that enable you to influence without authority

Strategic Project Management

  • Support our Strategic Realization Office in coordinating high-priority initiatives
  • Design project plans, monitor milestones, manage RAID logs, and drive accountability
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions to complex business problems
  • Ensure structured follow-up and execution across functions

Research, Analysis & Insights

  • Proactively research emerging industry trends, competitive moves, and market dynamics
  • Synthesize findings into concise briefs and data-driven recommendations
  • Build financial models and competitive analyses that inform strategic decisions
  • Support executive decision-making with context, benchmarks, and fact-based insights

Process Excellence

  • Identify bottlenecks in executive workflows and meeting readiness
  • Design and implement tools, templates, and processes that improve efficiency
  • Standardize workflows to reduce rework and accelerate execution

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience & Background:

  • 2–5 years in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or energy sector roles
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPA, or related advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Proven track record building executive-level presentations, analyses, and briefing materials that influenced major decisions
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-expectation environments with direct exposure to senior leadership

– Advanced PowerPoint and Excel/Smartsheet skills; experience with collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams)
Self-starter
– You don't need hand-holding. You proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and maintain momentum when priorities shift
Detail-oriented strategic thinker
– You can zoom in on the details while never losing sight of the bigger picture

Bonus Points For:

  • Direct experience in natural gas, upstream, midstream, power generation, or CCUS sectors
  • Prior exposure to public company governance, investor relations, or board-level materials
  • Experience working in a Chief of Staff office or CEO strategic support function
  • Track record of influencing and building credibility with C-suite executives

WHAT WE OFFER:


Compensation:
$108k–$178k base salary (based on experience) + 25% performance-based annual bonus


Location:
Denver, Houston, Fort Worth (hybrid options available; fully remote considered for exceptional candidates)


Travel:
Occasional travel for strategic planning sessions and board meetings (~20%)
