About this job

As the Digital Marketing Content Creator for CarMax Auto Finance (CAF), you will be responsible for developing engaging and compelling content across various digital platforms to drive brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and educate our customers.

Your role will involve creating written and visual content, updating existing materials to ensure brand consistency, and identifying new marketing opportunities to better our customer experience.

What you will do

  • You will write, review, edit, and update content for all customer facing communications (letters, emails, SMS, IVR, app, etc.) and the finance company website.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, identify and solve problems.
  • Partner with our Communication Strategist and Digital Marketing Manager to brainstorm and identify areas of improvement within existing communications and customer journeys.
  • Partner with Home Office teams and outside vendors to ensure brand consistency.
  • Partner with Legal team to ensure customer facing content aligns with company compliance requirements.
  • Occasionally partner with internal teams to support branding and creative efforts.

Purpose of this role:

The ideal candidate for this role must have a proven track record of creativity, stay informed about emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, and proactively suggest innovative ideas to enhance our digital presence. In addition, they will have a strong passion for digital marketing, excellent written and communication skills, team oriented with the ability to think from our customers lens to help drive customer engagement and repurchase.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Two (2) year Associates Degree and/or 1-3 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
