About the Position:

Allied Resources is looking for an
Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction activities including submittals, RFIs, safety reporting, change orders, contractor billing, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
  • Oversee equipment release, delivery, deficiencies, startup, commissioning, and project closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate design reviews, VDC-led meetings, and page-turn sessions; record minutes, capture action items, and drive resolution.
  • Enforce safety and quality standards by conducting required site walks, monitoring compliance, and reporting metrics to EH&S.
  • Support financial management through monthly updates, forecasts, and review of costs, contracts, and change orders.
  • Maintain project compliance with company document controls, file specifications, and permit requirements while coordinating with local authorities.
  • Provide commissioning support by onboarding agents, facilitating script approvals, and ensuring customer requirements are met.
  • Partner with Operations to coordinate construction in active spaces, develop MOPs for critical work, and provide customer support.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across design teams, contractors, and company vendors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience as a Project Engineer overseeing complex construction projects.
  • Strong background in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management.
  • Data center project experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%, with potential for increase.
