Job Title: Quality Specialist Intern

Reports to: Quality Manager

Job Class: Hourly

Position Summary:

The Quality Specialist Intern assists with audits of the Quality Management System and production processes and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with interpretation of GD&T requirements to aide with inspection of incoming material.
  • Program Optical Measurement System to complete mechanical inspections.
  • Use 3D printer to create fixtures to assist with inspection.
  • Assist with audits on Quality Management System, update processes and procedures.
  • Assist in other assigned duties and work on various other projects and processes as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Proficient understanding of GD&T.
  • Excellent analytical skills; high attention to detail.
  • Proficient Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software skills.
  • Attention to details, Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Education, Experience and Training:
  • Must handle ITAR documents without needing license.
  • A student pursuing a Bachelors or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
  • Lifting of up to 20 pounds.
