We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist – Azure & Microsoft Tools to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will provide advanced technical support and solutions for a global community of developers and technical professionals. You'll work hands-on with Microsoft technologies—including Azure, Entra, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, PowerShell, and Dynamics 365—to troubleshoot complex issues, develop automation tools, and strengthen the overall support experience. Beyond resolving individual cases, you'll analyze recurring problems, identify opportunities for process improvements, and help transition the team's support platform. This position is fully remote within the U.S., with coverage aligned to Pacific and Eastern Time Zones. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values problem solving, customer focus, and continuous growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to a global community of technical professionals and influencers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Entra, GitHub, Visual Studio Code, and Windows server environments.
- Develop and maintain automation tools (e.g., PowerShell scripts, command-line utilities) to improve support operations.
- Analyze recurring issues, recommend solutions, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Support the transition from ServiceNow to Dynamics 365 and help maintain/update an extensive knowledge base of technical resources.
- Assist with planning and supporting virtual and occasional in-person community events, including escalations or off-hours needs as required.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with technical professionals, developers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience providing technical support in IT, software, or cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including:
- PowerShell and command-line scripting
- Azure administration and configuration
- Entra / identity and access management
- GitHub
- Visual Studio Code
- Dynamics 365 (or equivalent enterprise platforms)
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts, tenant management, and server administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify patterns and propose improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with technical professionals and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to occasionally adjust hours for global event support or rare escalations.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment across time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting developer- or community-focused technical programs.
- Prior experience creating, managing, or expanding a technical knowledge base.
- Exposure to additional automation solutions (e.g., workflow or process automation tools).
- Previous experience working with global, distributed teams.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $36.06 to $40.87 USD/hour. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
