FT Medical Assistant needed for busy orthopedic clinic in North OKC

Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and obtain vitals and reason for visit
  • Charting in EHR (Epic) and processing paperwork to check out
  • Assist physician with exams and in-office procedures
  • Scheduling diagnostic procedures and surgeries
  • Phone triage
  • Prescription refills
  • Clean and stock patient rooms
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in an orthopedic surgeons office a plus
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic) preferred but not required
  • Must be able to multi-task while being efficient, friendly and professional while maintaining excellent patient care
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
