Construction Project Manager

Vertical Builders is hiring a Builder to own each home from the Pre-Construction Kickoff Review through homeowner orientation. You'll lead the kickoff (confirming scope, plans, selections, site conditions), drive the schedule, coordinate trade partners, maintain safe/clean jobsites, manage inspections and VPOs, and keep homeowners and teammates confidently informed. Success looks like homes delivered on time, on budget, and 100% complete at orientation. Compensation:
$75,000 - $85,000
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of residential construction methods and trade partner performance standards.
- Proven ability to create, sequence, and adjust construction schedules; coordinate vendors; and prevent dry runs.
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to interpret site topography and make sound field decisions.
- Understanding and enforcement of building codes, OSHA/safety practices, and local regulations.
- Clear, concise, and diplomatic communicator with a same-day response mindset; able to set expectations with homeowners.
- Comfortable performing detailed phase inspections, authorizing trade payments, managing returns/credits, and writing accurate VPOs.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated, organized, and committed to jobsite cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications:
- Construction or project management software experience is a significant plus
- Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management
- Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, blueprints, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
