Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction management, strong leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of project scheduling and estimating. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information among team members and subcontractors.
  • Utilize construction management software to track project progress and manage documentation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure all project specifications are met.
  • Prepare construction estimates using tools such as HeavyBid and ProCore for accurate budgeting.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project alignment with design specifications.
  • Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early and implementing effective solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and team members to maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

  • Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices including blueprint reading and contract management.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams on construction sites.
