Compensation
Compensation range of $148,500 - $181,500 plus discretionary annual bonus

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and independent FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. As an FP&A Manager, you will help to lead the FP&A team and partner with the Colas business team to help identify the right business strategies and provide a full range of financial services, including controllership, multi-year financial views, annual operating plans and monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities in complex and ambiguous environments, contributing to both operational excellence and long-term business success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead key analytical projects (e.g. Keystone initiatives) and develop key business metrics (e.g. Key Figures Report) to help monitor the performance of respective segments as well as for the overall company.
  • Consolidate, review and communicate financial results, insights, drivers and risks to leadership, demonstrating sound understanding of business and operational connections.
  • Support M&A process by overseeing the development of business plans for potential targets, valuation, supporting financial due diligence and partnering with business teams to identify risk and opportunities around acquisitions.
  • Oversee the consolidation and presentation of 3-Year Plans, operational budgets and updated guidance cycles for the US, providing balanced levels of insights into macro and micro level trends impacting our industry and local businesses.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of integrated financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and be able to identify key levers to help drive cash optimization for the business.
  • Simplify and enhance complex and or inefficient processes or projects by diving deep into current practices and implementing scalable and innovative solutions.
  • Lead and manage large-scale projects with significant impact (e.g. capital investments and business cases), ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster open and respectful communication with business partners, while being assertive and vocal in presenting differing viewpoints backed by sound judgment.
  • Operate independently with a strong focus on financial, operational, and business implications, demonstrating high judgment in decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to community engagement initiatives within the finance group and broader community, mentoring and promoting continuous learning and professional development of colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CCIFP, CPA, CFA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in finance management or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of leading finance teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and make sound judgment calls with limited data, assessing and communicating tradeoffs of decisions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement and simplification of processes.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth, both for oneself and for team members.
  • Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
