Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their healthcare journey. This position requires a compassionate individual who can effectively communicate with patients, manage administrative tasks, and collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services offered.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic operations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Assist in coordinating referrals and follow-up care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff to relay patient information and facilitate care plans.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as insurance verification, billing inquiries, and managing correspondence.
  • Support the overall efficiency of the medical office by performing various clerical duties as required.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a medical office setting, demonstrating familiarity with healthcare operations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in providing medical administrative support, ensuring smooth office functioning.
  • Strong office experience with proficiency in using office software and managing documentation.
