Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems. This role involves independent fieldwork, technical troubleshooting, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll work both independently and alongside our team to ensure reliable, high-quality HVAC solutions for our clients. Night and weekend work may be required depending on operational needs or emergency service calls.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in installing HVAC systems, including ductwork, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, thermostats, and ventilation equipment, following manufacturer guidelines and applicable codes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and lifespan of equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC components such as motors, fans, compressors, electrical connections, and control systems.
  • Transport tools, parts, and materials to and from job sites and workstations.
  • Assist with connecting or disconnecting wiring, piping, and tubing using hand or power tools.
  • Handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA Section 608 requirements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records all service calls, repairs and installations including parts and labor hours.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and subcontractors regarding job progress and system operations.
  • Care for company tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and maintained properly.
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and in compliance with safety practices.
  • Adhere to California Title 24 and all other applicable energy efficiency and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or trade school preferred
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or related service role
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required
  • Experience with Service Titan preferred
  • Valid California driver's license and insurable driving record required
  • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools related to HVAC installation and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and technical manuals

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and on rooftops
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, heat and cold
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and reaching

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
