Patner Construction Inc. is looking for highly motivated and engaged employees who love construction; someone who wants to grow with us and leave a lasting legacy on the Washington DC landscape. We are currently in search of a
Project Accountant
to join our Fairfax, VA office..

Essential responsibilities include:

· Maintain all job costs and revenue for monthly accounting closes.

· Prepare monthly A/R billings on AIA forms.

· Process all monthly A/P invoices as approved by Project Manager.

· Maintain all contract documents in Viewpoint Vista.

· Collect and maintain all subcontractor COI's, W-9's and waivers.

· Prepare bi-weekly check runs.

· Report any financial risks and budget discrepancies to project manager and CFO.

· Collect overdue receivables.

Qualifications, skills and abilities include;

· A four year degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Project Management from an accredited college or university required

· Must have a minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.

· Experience with Viewpoint Vista preferred.

· Good time management and prioritization skills.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

· Excellent follow-through skills.
