Summary

As a Medical Coordinator at Cardinal Grace Animal Rescue, you will play a vital role in managing the health and well-being of our rescued animals. This position is essential in ensuring that all medical records are accurately maintained and that our team provides the best care possible.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the medical records of all rescued animals, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate veterinary appointments and follow-up care for animals in our shelter.
  • Assist in managing medication schedules and treatment plans for each animal.
  • Maintain communication with veterinarians regarding animal health issues and treatments.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards within the rescue organization.
  • Provide support to staff regarding animal health inquiries and concerns.
  • Organize health-related events or initiatives to promote animal welfare awareness.

Qualifications

  • Strong phone etiquette skills for effective communication with veterinarians and staff.
  • Experience in office management or administrative roles, preferably within an animal care setting.
  • Knowledge of health information management practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team focused on animal welfare.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
