Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service with greeting customers, gathering vehicle information, creating and managing repair orders, answering phones, and communicating service recommendations clearly and professionally. This position requires strong communication skills, organization, and a willingness to learn basic automotive processes.

Duties

  • Answer phones and greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport
  • Assist customers with scheduling service appointments and explaining repair options
  • Provide detailed vehicle diagnostics and recommend appropriate services such as oil changes, brake repairs and suspension work
  • Create, update, and close repair orders accurately
  • Communicate service recommendations, timelines, and pricing
  • Coordinate information between customers and technicians
  • Maintain clear, professional customer communication
  • Prepare accurate auto estimates and service writing documentation
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and sales activities

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and learning shop software
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Ability to work professionally with customers and team members
  • Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto repair is essential
  • Familiarity service writing processes
  • Experience in upselling vehicle services or accessories to customers
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Prior experience in customer service is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
