Piper Companies is hiring a Quality Engineer for a leading financial services firm located in Westlake/Dallas, TX. The Quality Engineer will be hands-on and responsible for designing and developing automated regression test suites using Playwright and Typescript. This is a remote 6-month contract to hire opportunity and requires the candidate to reside in Westlake/Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:

  • Design, develop, and validate automated regression test suites using approved tools and frameworks
  • Establish reusable test assets to reduce manual testing efforts and improve test cycle efficiency
  • Ensure reliability and scalability of automation solutions
  • Provide documentation and training to application teams to support integration and handoff

Requirements of the Quality Engineer:

  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Typescript
  • Proven background in building scalable automation frameworks
  • Experience in reducing manual testing efforts through automation
