The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customer relationships and supporting existing accounts within an assigned territory.

This role focuses on promoting hardscape, masonry, and concrete solutions through consultative selling, product education, and relationship building.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, knowledgeable in building materials, and works collaboratively with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through post-sale support.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Development
: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, architects, landscape designers, dealers, and other key stakeholders.

·
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, including hardscape, masonry, and concrete solutions, to effectively address client needs and provides tailored recommendations.

Sales Presentations:
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and applications of our products.

·
Market Analysis:
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and improve product offerings.

Sales Targets:
Achieve or exceed sales targets, providing regular updates to the sales team on sales performance.

·
Reporting
: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.

·
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Marketing and Southern Maine Store Teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry to post-sale support.

DESIRED SKILLS

· Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in referenced markets with knowledge of building materials.

· Experience with quoting or bidding jobs using industry software.

· Account management or planning and estimating experience a plus.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

· Knowledge of construction processes and materials.

· Goal-oriented and results-driven mindset.

· Valid driver's license and insurable.

· Willingness to travel as needed.
