Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events and banquets, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and possess excellent guest service skills. You will work closely with the catering team to deliver high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Set up banquet tables and dining areas according to event specifications
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
  • Buss tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events
  • Break down banquet setups after events, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored properly

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings, is preferred
  • Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality is a plus
  • Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety regulations, and preparation techniques
  • Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
