We are seeking an Administrative and Digital media Assistant to join our small yet busy office. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with ease. Strong customer service skills are essential, as our work centers on supporting individuals with Intellectual Disables and Autism.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Provide general support for office functions

o Answer the main telephone line and route calls accordingly

o Welcome guests

o Data entry (specifically SS, Donor Perfect, IM4Q)

o Update and maintain databases

  • Provide administrative support for The Arc team

  • Preliminary telephone or web intake for Advocacy and Family Support inquiries

  • Assist the Development Coordinator with planning and support of events and fundraisers

  • Post on social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) promoting upcoming events, trainings,

fundraisers, etc.

  • Assist the Development Coordinator in designing materials for events and fundraisers

  • Complete other clerical tasks as assigned

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role

  • Expertise in MS Office Word and Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work accurately and independently with strong attention to detail

  • Proficiency in basic desktop publishing skills

  • Database or CRM maintenance experience

  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs

POSITION TYPE: Non-exempt; Part-time at 28 hours per week; Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Evening and weekend hours will be required for specific events

REPORTS TO: The Executive Director and collaborates closely with the Development Coordinator

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
