Executive Chef for New Concept in Howard County

The Iron Bridge Restaurant Group is developing an exciting new restaurant concept in Howard County and is seeking a talented, motivated Chef to lead the kitchen from the ground up.

This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a creative but disciplined environment and is excited to help shape a menu focused on thoughtful small plates and artisan pizzas, while also overseeing catering and private events.

We're looking for a hands-on kitchen leader with several years of culinary management experience—someone who is both a skilled technician and an effective teacher. The right candidate values systems, consistency, and mentorship, and understands how to guide a seasoned kitchen team toward executing great food, every service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating and executing a seasonal menu centered on small plates and artisan pizzas
  • Leading and developing a professional kitchen team through training, organization, and clear expectations
  • Managing food cost, inventory, pricing, and product usage
  • Working with local farms and quality purveyors
  • Overseeing catering menus and execution for private events
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven kitchen leadership experience
  • Strong foundational cooking skills, including meat and seafood butchery
  • Broad culinary knowledge and comfort with multiple cuisines and techniques
  • Experience managing food costs, ordering, and inventory
  • A calm, organized leadership style that brings out the best in a team
