Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Punchlist Manager to lead the final inspection and quality assurance phases of construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the identification, documentation, and resolution of punchlist items—those remaining tasks needed to complete a project to perfection. Your expertise will ensure that every aspect of the construction aligns with design specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate across teams, utilize advanced construction management tools, and drive projects toward successful completion with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive site inspections to identify incomplete or deficient work, ensuring all punchlist items are accurately documented using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to communicate punchlist findings clearly and facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Prioritize punchlist tasks based on project schedules and critical deadlines, maintaining momentum toward project completion.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to verify work completion against design intent and specifications.
  • Coordinate with field teams to schedule inspections, monitor progress on punchlist items, and ensure quality standards are met on-site.
  • Manage documentation processes for all punchlist activities, including creating detailed reports, tracking resolutions, and maintaining records for project closeout.
  • Support project management efforts by providing insights into construction progress, potential delays, or quality issues related to punchlist items.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management or site supervision with a strong understanding of construction processes and quality assurance procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating among diverse teams including subcontractors, clients, and internal staff.
  • Ability to utilize construction management software for documentation tracking and reporting purposes.
