ABOUT RETOOL
Nearly every company in the world runs on custom software for critical operations like tracking performance metrics, handling customer support workflows, building admin dashboards, and countless other processes you might not have even thought of. But most companies don't have adequate resources to properly invest in these tools, leading to a lot of old and clunky internal software or, even worse, users still stuck in manual and spreadsheet flows.
At Retool, we're building the first enterprise AppGen platform: software that transforms natural language into production-ready code, integrates directly with business data, and meets the highest standards of security and governance. AI is redefining what it means to build software—and who gets to build it. The definition of "developer" now includes analysts, operators, and domain experts creating solutions directly. As the pool of builders widens, so does the complexity of what they need to build. The opportunity is enormous, but so is the challenge of enabling this larger community to build production-grade software safely. That means AI that understands real business data, enforces enterprise policies automatically, and empowers teams to create once and reuse everywhere with shared, trusted components.
Over 100 million hours of work has been automated by developers and domain experts using our platform, freeing them to focus on creative problem-solving and strategic initiatives that drive real business value. The people closest to knowing what needs to be built can now safely create custom solutions within enterprise guardrails. And that's a mission worth striving for.
Let's build the future together
WHY WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU:
Retool's GTM systems are at the center of how our Sales, CS, and Marketing teams operate—and how we make data-driven decisions to grow.
As a Revenue Operations Manager – Systems, you'll own and improve key systems and processes within and around our Salesforce environment, building scalable solutions that support efficiency and insight across our go-to-market teams.
You'll dive deep into CRM architecture, enrichment workflows, and process automation, turning operational pain points into streamlined systems. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to design solutions that help them focus on selling and serving—not spreadsheets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own defined systems and process areas within Revenue Operations, with a focus on Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, Retool, and many more.
- Design and implement improvements to CRM data models and automations, field structures, validation rules, and automation to enhance GTM efficiency.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflow gaps and translate them into technical requirements and system updates.
- Manage enrichment and data hygiene initiatives, ensuring GTM data is accurate, complete, and actionable.
- Build lightweight automations and dashboards in Retool to surface insights and improve data visibility for teams.
- Develop structured plans, document systems, and execute with minimal supervision—keeping projects aligned with business priorities.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Own a subset of systems within our Retool portfolio, and collaborate on the execution of projects
- Be an advisor to the GTM functions on project identification, scoping, and execution to ensure we're creating the right kind of work for the team
- Ensure our GTM systems are of top quality in terms of data and workflow
- Be a core reason Retool's GTM succeeds in becoming a leader in the new way software is built
THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING:
- 2–4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related systems-focused role.
- Proficient in Salesforce administration, including objects, flows, validation rules, and permission sets.
- Familiar with standard GTM tools like Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, Harmonic, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Confident in navigating cross-functional projects that require balancing multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical, systems-minded, and comfortable identifying root causes and designing scalable fixes.
- Excited by improving processes and building small automations to make teammates' lives easier.
BONUS POINTS:
- Experience building simple internal tools or dashboards in Retool.
- Familiarity with the data toolstack including Databricks, Polytomic, dbt and/or Github.
- Exposure to basic SQL or API-based integrations.
