Armed Security Guard
Salary: $22/hour
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a security guard.
Valid California identification.
Valid California Guard Card.
40 hours minimum of certified training.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
Ability to provide high-quality customer service.
Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
Physically capable of long periods of foot patrolling and standing while carrying a firearm.
Excellent marksmanship skills and firearm proficiency.
Must show restraint and composure in high-stress situations.
Candidates may undergo background checks and should have a clean criminal record.
Must have valid firearms permit.
Must have proof of qualifications certificates.
Must provide your own equipment, including a legally owned and registered weapon.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other vulnerable points to ensure security and safety.
Observe and promptly report any suspicious behavior, potential threats, or security breaches as prescribed by law.
Maintain a visible and vigilant presence to discourage trespassing and unauthorized access.
Complete written reports for any incidents, security breaches, or unusual occurrences.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations as prescribed by law.
