Overview
Bear Restoration and Construction is seeking a dynamic and strategic thinking Business Development Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, following up on leads, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of estimating and closing restoration/construction sales, with strategic planning and negotiation skills. Experience in restoration estimating is a plus. Candidate must have outstanding communication and follow up skills, be self-motivated with a competitive mindset, and be success-driven. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's client base and market presence.
- Be a brand ambassador ensuring our services are the go-to solution for restoration and construction in NWA.
- Promote the One Team culture with a willingness to make a difference through community service.
- Develop and deliver branded marketing materials and lead local tradeshows and marketing events.
- Manage the entire sales cycle including prospecting, estimating and closing.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions efficiently.
- Develop lasting B2B relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, fire departments, property managers and businesses.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers and subcontractors to deliver customized solutions and bring customers' visons to life.
- Coordinate with project management and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
Experience
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or related roles in restoration, remodeling, or general construction.
- Restoration estimating experience is a plus.
- Experience in residential and light commercial construction.
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and customer relationship management, including CRM software and tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies that support business growth objectives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with designers and product teams is preferred.
- This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
